Noongar Housing First Principles

Our work is grounded in Mia Keny, the Noongar Housing First Principles. This approach is based on Noongar cultural values, relationships and ways of knowing, and is guided by the concept of “going along together”.

We deliver trauma-informed, culturally secure housing and support services that strengthen connections to family, community, culture and country.

Moorditj Mia delivers culturally grounded outreach and support for Aboriginal people experiencing homelessness or housing instability, connecting individuals and families with safe accommodation and pathways to home.

Noongar Mia Bidi provides culturally secure community housing and tenancy support for Aboriginal individuals and families, strengthening long-term housing stability and connection to home.
